Gold Bar, WA - 155 dogs, 4 cats, 3 parrots seized

On a recent trip to see family my husband was witness to horrible acts of animal cruelty at a lifelong friend’s residence.  He came home and called authorities with a tip that lead to the end of a large puppy mill in Snohomish County Washington. These dogs need our help as this is the largest bust the area has ever seen and the conditions were horrible.

There were 155 dogs rescued one of which had puppies the first night at the shelter. They need tons of donations to help care for them since they will not be able to be adopted until the court case is done due to the fact that they are evidence.

This is huge.

There’s just not enough room for all of the dogs right now and a lot of them need specialized care. If anyone can help with donations it would be a godsend to these dogs, especially because I’m sure there are more puppies on the way that will be born in the coming days and weeks. Most of these dogs are likely pregnant.

Anyone wishing to donate dog food or money for medical expenses to the Everett Animal Shelter’s nonprofit agency, ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation), may do so by calling 425-257-6000 or coming to the shelter in person at 2732 36th St., Everett, WA

I have heard that the shelter is working on a way for people to donate online, but as of today they don’t have any way to do it because this all happened so fast.

Please help get the word out so that these dogs can be properly taken care of until they can be adopted.
